The Six Boxes^TM Organizational Alignment Workshop

Executives, Managers, and Human Resources professionals can use The Six Boxes to gain alignment and to clarify communication about individual and group performance expectations, how they relate to organizational or business objectives, and what factors are needed to optimize desired performance. This workshop provides a framework, guidelines, tools, and suggested processes for creating organizational alignment at various levels using The Six Boxes.

The Six Boxes Organizational Alignment Workshop shows participants how to:

Introduce The Six Boxes to small or large groups within an organization and establish a shared understanding of the model.
Start from desired business results to identify required job or process outputs (accomplishments) and needed behavior to clarify expectations for individuals, teams or whole organizations.
Use The Six Boxes to uncover and discuss the factors in each “box” that are needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Use the Energy/Attitude Matrix to understand motives and preferences (box 6) in the organization, and how factors in the other five boxes are either contributing to or detracting from employee satisfaction and engagement.
Communicate with teams and individuals in ways that encourage a shared understanding of challenges and opportunities for improving productivity and performance quality.

Second-day Jump Start Work Session: When you have specific applications in mind for Organizational Alignment, consider adding a second-day Jump Start Work Session following the Application Workshop. We can spend the second day planning and developing tools and agendas for specific organizational alignment efforts, actually conducting one or more meetings in which we apply The Six Boxes to gain alignment, or in other related work.
